I replaced my roll bar because the stock bar is a couple of peices of tube that interlocked and are bolted together. S&N Fab built my new cage, and they said that the main hoop, ugly as it is, was actually strong enough. I had them replace it anyway.

Don't put the lights up top. It just ain't right. How about mounting the highlift to a tire carrier? As you can see, I am not a fan of roof racks.

The factory roll bar is strong enough for a con-ferr style rack. I'd prefer to use an external style rack instead though (bolts to windshield hinge and tailight area's) This way the rack can be used with or without the top.

Be warned that adding a roof rack will increase the tippyness of your Jeep on sidehills.

If you are worried about roll over, scrap the entire cage and start over.

I have had 10 treated 4/4 on top of my jeep with no rack. I have also been told that the stock b piller is strong enough but you can always make the cage stronger. and I also think that no lights should go on the top and the high lift should go on the bumper.
