This is a 1998 Wrangler se.

Is there any differences I should be aware of for the PCMs?

Any hot PCMs?

Any not so hot PCMs?

Any chance of using an XJ 2.5L PCM?

I didn't get the markings from my current PCM and i know that they are important, I should have them by 12:30 CST.

I know these things are pretty freaking fickle so I assume somebody else has already gone through this, so if ya know something speak up.

you can use a 98 cherokee PCM if it had the same motor, Tranny as you have (this means 5-speed as the auto's are diff) you do not want a 2000 and up model or a model that has the secutity system (it will not work in any other Jeep)
