Anyone have the part number for the seal that goes between the Tranny and the T-case? It’s the seal that is in the adapter behind a t-19. Approximate OD of 3.05" with an ID of 2.125. It’s New Years weekend, so of course limited parts houses are open, and I'm dead in the water. Couple houses had a part come up, but of course they would have to order it in... plus from the specs, it wasn't the right part to begain with. Going through the books to see what parts have the right specs worked OK, but again, nothing in stock.

Pulled the D20 to swap my 'massaged' D300 back in (about time  ). On a whim I pulled the adapter to re-seal it and low an behold I have found why oil seems to be getting from the t-case to the tranny and visa-versa after some good verticals(:D). Course now I can't put it all back together till I get that seal, so Monday's going to be the soonest its rolling again if I can find that seal (so much for even the thought of wheeling a little this weekend). If anyone has a PN, let me know, it wouold make the search easier, as we all know how good parts houses are with IH parts .

Yes, this is cross posted on the BB.... so what?

Oh, and
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I believe the number you are looking for is National 473468. BCA carries the same part number.

Thanks Todd, I'll give it a try later today...

Curious if that part number was the right one? Did you get it?

Damn Todd, You beat me too it, I was going to post today.

Yep, it was the right one. Yep, Napa 21211, CR 21211 or National 473468... all same part. It was only $10 and my local Napa had it in stock (the one that was closed over the weekend :grr: ). Shucks/Kragen could have gotten it by the end of the day as well...

The outer metal part was thicker than the one I took out (1/2" wide vs 3/8" wide) but it fit perfect (I don't think the seal I took out was 100% right) and the trucks all back together now.

If I get home in daylight tonight I'll be taking it out from a spin/(crawl) :D:D
