I want a hydro ram that will fit in jd2's hydro conversion block. Porta power style ram. I have an electric pump and valve up and working. Big caveat is finding a ram that fits this and is double acting because that's what I want and what I'm setup for. Any help?

I think this is what I'm looking for but I can't tell if it'd work in JD's block. Found the pic in this thread

you need a 18" or 24"?

either. i'd probably prefer an 18" just for compactness.

also, even a ram that doesn't fit in a jd2 block is fine as long as there's a way to attach it from where the rod comes out of the body. i can machine any block needed.. i just want my ram mounted in the same fashion as jd's conversion but i'd like to use a 3" bore ram.

Nobody could help me, so I helped myself. Just in case anyone is interested I got a pic. It's almost done. I have to replace a seal somewhere in the ram that I overheated and I got slop from boring the hole with a one inch endmill so I have to turn down a new sleeve to go through my block so there's no slop.. I also have to cut off the old temp ram mount and paint the stand to call it a success.
