Hey folks,
We spent Saturday working on a new trail at Disney.. It's gonna be a great Sami run. Real tight narrow ravine for the main section, then a nasty climb up a loose rock and dirt wall up to the ridge. We're gonna tie it into the main feeder back to Ho Chi Mihn at an obstacle were calling 'John's Crack' (after John at WMS who discovered it). It's still lacks a little work to finish, but here's a preview:

Here's the main ravine:

Here's our current exit just below 'John' Crack':

Here's an optional exit :D :D :

Also, I got word there were going to be a group of Sami's up here next weekend. Anyone on the board know about that?

I was at Disney Saturday.Mostly stayed at the waterfall, Nosedive and Lil' Blue areas though. I think that I saw a picture of your Samuri at P.J.'s burger place. Which direction is the trail from the campground?

Troy from GotZuk in Kansas organized a Suzuki run in Feb the last couple years. I always helped by providing trail leaders, but I've not heard from him this year. Rumor is he's not doing the Suzuki aftermarket stuff any more. I heard there is going to be about a dozen Suzuki's in next weekend, but I found out 2nd-3rd hand.

I'll probably run out there Saturday and see what is going on. (any excuse to go wheel :p ).

Check out extreme4wheein' web page for a calendar of events. The trails are down river from the camp ground, but be warned. If you try to venture down there on your own, I would recommend you have a winch. Many of the hills are dug out and will require at least 1 locker to make it all the way up. They are also very difficult to turn around or back down if you get hung up. Try to get with a group or talk to Russ (Hogan's RV park) he is real helpful and can show you around.

For anyone coming in from out of town. You are more than welcome to email me (okcrawler@hotmail.com). If I'm gonna be out there I can show you around or guide you to the trails. I've also found some trails that are basically Suzuki only stuff (quad trails, Suzuki will fit)! :D

Is there interest in doing a Suzuki run? The only time I'm gonna have open is April or after the Novice run in May...
