Has anyone here done a traction bar on a 79 or later FJ40 (i.e. with the under body fuel tank)?

Got cable? :laughing: You can run one on each side by the springs, or do a body lift to get the big ol gas tank up and out of the way so you can put one where it needs to be in the center of the axle. :p

I still need to get off my a$$ and do the later.

I was hoping you'd chime in on this. I just bought a burned out 78 that was sprung over and am putting the axles under my truck now. It has a regular traction bar on it, but I need to get creative on how to mount it.
I'm trying to keep this as low as possible right now, but a body lift may be necessary.

Yeah, I need to schedule another trip out so I can check out any new mods to the Dog House, and so I can wreak havoc on another Avis rent-a-Blazer at Hollister! :D
