plenty have..........weld spiders......remember skip a few teeth each time to prevent "weakining" gears by overheating them...

look in the "search" for info on welding difs.....

Just recently colorado k5 had an article on how to weld the spiders for a spool without ruining the carrier.

I welded up mine... Still holdin strong!
