I really like my 392, 4.30 gears, and 31" tires... :flipoff2:

I have one except its for a Dana/Spicer 18 tcase. Also known as a Studebaker overdrive. This unit isn't very strong and will probably break behind a 392. I broke one with a 304 when I had one installed.

Here's the NV4500 set-up to go behind an IH. All its waiting for is some shop space to bring in my Scout and install.

It would actually let me get rid of the carrier bearing, so it in a way, it would simplify things. :D

My biggest fear is if the old Brown Lipe would :nuke: behind my worked over 392 and T-35 when loaded down pulling a trailer.. and that would really ruin my day.. especially if my wife was along and we were on our way to RMIHR.. I think one more unplanned stop-over/roadside overhaul might put her over the edge..
