I have herd that many people use yorks for on bord air. I have a 1988 with an efi 302 I amjust curious where the best place to mount it would be. I am thinking of putting a different pully on my alternator and runnig it off that. any suggestions??

A 1988 what?
I installed a York on my 89 Bronco for onboard air, using a combo serp/v-belt pulley on my alt from Kirby.

i mounted mine above my alternator where the air pump used to be, using the factory bracket. ran the v belt off of the alternator and added an idler pulley for the adjustment. i built the bracket from two pieces of angleiron. very simple and works great. wish i had a digital so i could show the pictures. everyone that has seen it want me to build them the same setup.....
