The annual IH gathering in Hollister Hills is on. This is an informal gathering, but all IH folks are invited.

The Dysfunctional crew will be there in force and we are a melting pot of rigs, IH and non

I'm thinking about it this year. Thats my birthday weekend and would love to do something besides sit on my ass and eat cake. Hopefully I won't be in the middle of my Dana60 and NV4500 upgrades.

I know ~ I know ~Workin' ~~ wait a second! I thought I bought your freindship with that 4-link!  :crybaby:

:D  :D

~ Speaking of which, your Scout is looking pretty freakin sweet. I've been following it on the other board. :cool2:  :cool2:

Where's Rueben's buidup? ~ he said his is starting to look like yours ~ like to see that one! (EDIT: Found it ~ just had to open my eyes)

Seeing your Scout come *back* together sure makes me excited to see what's going to show up at HH. Man, Scout building has come a long way since I put together my first SOA 5 years ago. The more the merrier. I know HH was fun in '99 ~ it'll be interesting to see what it'll be like this time around.

It's awn, as of tonight my truck will be down (hard decision cause I wanted to wheel but ya gotta start sometime)

So..

Next week I order the wiring harness and new spring hangers all the way around. I'm gonna pull the front clip off the scout and drop in my engine/tranny/tcase. Here we go..

:grinpimp:

With no babysitter and two young kids and a full time job it's gonna be a miracle but I am not ruling it out!!

Is there an informal sign up somewhere? I'd like to see how many 80/800/II's there will be, being somewhat partial to the 80 ;)

I've hijacked my husband's login. Four years ago (March 9th) my husband and I were married by a Nortary Public right after work, and for our honeymoon that night he took me to Anything Scouts Annual IH Roundup in Hollister. We spent our first married night in a campsite next to some fawkers who had Ted Nugent on repeat in their CD player. So of course we will be there again to have our "second honeymoon." What more could a wife ask for?

That's a great story. I can't wait to meet you guys. Look for pink hair (that's my wife) and introduce yourselves. Happy anniversary!

UPDATE: The location is Sycamore camp. Pay at the ranger station and tell them you are with the Scout Western Nationals (or whatever it's called). They will point you in the right direction. We have the whole camp to ourselves but if there is any overflow, you will have to go up to the camp above the obstacle course. Yes, the 5th and 6th. I'm showing up Friday after work.

Are you guy's wanting to do any organized runs? Or just roll with it? It might be fun to have a little comp on the mini-rubicon. maybe I can put up a $150 dollar gift cert on anything we carry to the winner. Think about it. The only condition is I get to enter too :D just a thought - Damien I hope you can make it.
Also - Silicon Valley chapter of Scouts West is providing a free lunch for all on Saturday.
