I just found out that I will be spending a week in mid July in Bend Oregan. Would it be worth dragging my rig down there for a week? Are there some good tough trails down there or should I just bring my mt. bike?
I know there is some really good single track in that area for mt. biking, I was hopeing there would be just as good of wheelin trails in that area.
Any helpful info would be great! Thanks!

I know that there is a lot of exploring that you can do in that area. I don't know of any really long and hard trails. If you have a motorcycle I recomend that you bring that down. The motorcycle trails are great in the area and they go forever. If you want to do some off-road exploration, mt. biking, or motorcycling then head south out of town on the hwy. Just about a mile out of town keep an eye out on the left side of the hwy for a road called China Hat. Head down the road for a while (the further the better) and do what you like. By the way, if you like or want to try caving then there are some pretty good lava tubes off of China Hat road. You'll see signs for the biggest caves.
