: Bellhousing pattern 2.5 4.2 same?

I am looking to buy a 92 YJ with the 2.5 & 5spd & want an auto. Is the bolt pattern the same, I might have a friend with the auto from his 4.2 left over from a complete redo.

No, they're not the same bell housing bolt pattern.

If you weren't so far away I have a 999 for a 2.5 but I wouldn't want to ship that sucker.

John....just buy my whole damn driveline! 4.2, Auto, 231 with SYE and shaft. :D
