I believe Centech and Howell sell a wiring kit for the Vortec, but they are very proud of them ($600). I'm swaping a Vortec into a CJ using an NV tranny. I splurged for the $12 Haynes book. It seens about 80% accurate as far as color codes for my motor. As far as I can tell, there are only a handful of wires that need to be spliced from the Vortec harness to the CJ harness. The rest of the Vortec spagetti looks like it can remain unchanged. I think I'll reduce the # of O2 sensors from 4 to 1. Project still underway, so no definite answers yet!
