85 CJ-7 258 w/auto holley 2300 series 500 cfm 2 barrel with a manual choke.
Weird problem.....On cold mornings it starts right up and runs normal while it's warming up,as soon as the thermostat shows normal operating temp the Jeep runs like crap, spits sputters ,goes dead.I gradually push the choke in while it's warming up but once warm it has no effect either way ( as far as improving the condition ) After turning it off ...when I get in it later ( even 1 hour ) it runs fine for the rest of the day :confused:
I check vacum hoses and replaced vacum caps
On warm days it runs fine
I dont notice any smoke
problem seems to start when thermostat opens :confused:
The carb is less than 1 year old
