Well I did a search and couldn't fund squat so...
I plan on putting an 85 Chevy 350 into my CJ-7. It currently is attached to a TH350 but I plan on swapping that out for a T18A. Has anyone done this swap before or have any links, pics, insight they would provide me?

I think you will have to get a special bellhousing or modify your existing one. My dad put a t-18 to a 4.3 in his jeep . The top bolt holes lined up. However, the bottom holes were off. So he welded up the existing holes and drilled new ones with a piece welded to the backside of the bellhousing behind the hole which was threaded as well. It works fine with no problems. While he was at it he also installed a hydro cltuch enagement set-up which works good on his vehicle and I have it one of my trucks and it is a lot better than the old bar linkage set-up.Hope this helps.:D

Yeah I figured I was going to have to get a new bellhousing. I was more wondering about all the linkages, etc dealing with getting the clutch to work.

The bearing retainer can be turned down to fit the small hole gm bellhousing. Then turned down on the throwout bearing slide to fit the gm bearing. Bolt holes top ovaled out 1/8 inch to fit bottom i drilled case ear to fit bellhousing. Clutch go hyd. using stock 80's cyl. parts. I've also used fiero hyd. parts. Novak site has some good info on this swap.
