What mods to the front axle will need to be made when putting an 80' Dana 44 8 lug from a Chevy into a SOA CJ7? :D Will the caster be ok since the chevy was already set up for spring over? Pinion angle? Will I need to outboard my springs?

I used a Chevy 8 bolt on mine from a '74 3/4 ton. I had it cut down on both side, though & the caster increase to approx. 7 degrees. I think this helped the steering, goes nice & straight.

If I didn't cut mine I would have had to outboard the springs.

I used 6 bolt outers from a waggy to match the waggy rear end I have.
