Hey Orangefj45, back in Sept. you posted this reply:

i'm pretty sure that the fj60 frame is wider, therefor you'd have to outboard the springs on the fj40 or move the spring perches closer together on the fj60 axles. a buddy of mine is putting a set of 60 axles in a fj45 wagon right now and he had to outboard the springs.

I am going to put FJ60 axles into my 45 wagon, but will probably move perches instead of outboarding springs. How did your friend's turn-out. Did he do SOA. Any problems?

you only have problems, with one u-bolt, the square one on the drivers side front
it doesnt fit, so make a block up and weld it onto the top of the diff with 2 studs, and bolt your spring plate to that!!

its what i did, and ive seen it done on a number of other vehicles, including one iwth a d60 front, similar setup with the u-bolt!

my buddy simon at fault line fab in LA is working on the 45 with 60 axles. it is SOA. i think the only problem would be the front passenger perch. call simon, he'll give you some good pointers.
