You can buy the line lock selenoids for $40 each from Summit Racing, and then go to you local auto store and get some steel brake line, do it yourself for alot less.

Or get a mechanical hydraulic line lock from Jamar for $33.

I would go with the solenoid type. The only way to release the Jamar is by tapping the brake pedal. Kinda hard on a steep hill.

Come on, you got to give me more info than that. Why didn't you like it?

The more I think about it I’d rather have a manual one rather than rely on a power one that might fail. Especially since I’m not going to have a conventional parking brake.

My only concern with the electric ones is the drain on the battery if you are using it for a parking brake.

I too would like to know why you don't like the Jammer. I'm planning on putting disc brakes on the rear of mine soon and will need a P-brake solution too.

The only reason I don't care for it is because the only way to release the Jamar is to step on the brake pedal. It holds really well, even on steep stuff
