This is a pretty lame post. I'll let it stand if you can prove that there is some merit to it otherwise it's moreof a chit chat kinda question.

don't be so sensitive dude. I've got a Chevy sitting here in my driveway. I come home from work in a Jeep and get into a Chevy to get parts for my Ford.

Better yet Im wondering what gears people have run with 44" tires, personally I have run 4:88 with 44" tires in a 3 speed automatic, it did good on the freeway but it had no torque getting off the line, Im wondering how 44"s would do with 5:13's or 5:29 'swith an automatic . Anyone run that combo?

me thinks that if you are wanting to make a big ass truck and run the biggest tires possible then you are also gonna need mad amounts of power, so with that in mind i would say forget 5.13's and go and get some 2ton rockwells with super strong 5.89's er somthin like that...:smokin:

If your running 44's you probley don't care much about the onroad performance so why not just run 2 transfer cases to get a beter crawl ratio?

Ive seen 44s on a six inch lift with extensive fender trimming, also 38s on a kid you not 27 inch lift(clearly with no fender trimming). The first was running 4.11s the second I have no idea. I was too busy laughing at it's center of gravity to ask what gears.

ya that truck is sick!!, but unless you plan on cuttin most of the front of your truck off and gettin rid of the bed, you should count on having a little bit of lift.

I'm running 44's with 410's, an sm465 tranny with a 468 under the hood.
Witht the poinies under the hood and those gears I get some good wheelspin.

Bet ya we'll get into the wheelspin debate and gears here :D

My 6.2L with 3.42's(I think) and 245/75R16's can't even spin the wheels in the snow. Now that's pathetic. :D

Well in petersons a few years ago they had a mid 80'2 blazer on 44"s and a 1 inch lift. It had new wheel wells in the rear and the firewall was modified though
