i have a vortec 5.7 that i just put in my cj-8 with a 700r4 behind it. does anyone know which wires i am to use on the stock wiring harness??? or of anyone that can wire it for me?

The best thing to do is go to the dealer and get a photo copy of the wireing diagrams. Some dealers will copy them for free others will charge a small fee but it is money well spent because they help a lot. If you were closer I would say bring it by and I would help

you need to get the factory service manuals for the year and make of the donor. this will be alot of help.

Someone should be contacting you shortly. There are quite a few people in OK who have already done that conversion, LT1 and I beleive an LS1 into TJs a CJ should be a cakewalk.

yes it should not be hard to find someone in tulsa to do it/ help with it...there are tons of CJ's with SBC in them...Good luck wiring is a PITA!

I'm doing the same swap, except with an NV trannny. Haven't got to the wiring part yet though. I will hopefully start that within a couple weeks. I'll pass on any good info I can. If anyone has some tips and/or info, please pass it on!
