: rod end shims

what do you use to center the rod end in the mount.do you make it ,or is ther a part that you can buy,just starting my suspension and forgot all about the shim

I use steel tube like they use for hydraulic lines on equiptment, cut it on the chop saw and clean it up with a rattail file. Cost about 3 cents each. : )

depends on the application. for suspension stuff that need high misalignment i use high misalignment spacers. also you should consider a larger heim for suspension duty. i see alot of 3/4 ones fail.

anyhow sandy cone 805-239-2663 makes some sweet machined high misalignment spacers.
