The Mosers, can run full circle clips. For that matter the stock Dana/Spicer axles, can, be modified to except full circle clips, with a bit of precision grinding.
The Moser shafts should be excelent with the CTM's. The only reason I recommend the warn shafts, is because they have worked great for me, and have a proven track record.
If you(or anyone else) already have Mosers, or other brand of high strength axle shafts, then just run em.
As the users and abusers of CTM's grows larger, and more diverse,so will the data base of success and failure for different brands.
This may prove some brands better or worse than others.
What I know now, from my experiences, is that I have seen the shattered remains of 2 Moser stub shafts. I have not seen or heard of any catastrophic failures with the Warns, even though more joints have been installed with the Warns. I, also run the Warns and I have been relentlessly brutal, on my front axle since the CTM's were installed. No catastrophic failures "YET". :D
Now with, that said, while inspecting parts last week, I discovered a twist in the splines of my long side inner shaft. It is serious enough(about 3 to 5 degrees of twist:eek:) that the shaft is being returned to Warn for replacement, as soon as my spare assemblies arrive. I will take pics before the shaft is sent on its way.
I did, however, wheel the rig pretty hard, this weekend,...with no :nuke:failures.

Hahahaha, Sorry to tell you "how to build a clock", when all you asked for, was "the time".

Don't be sorry. All the info was very helpful and makes me feel even better about my shafts. I don't even know if I'm going to get the CTMs soon or not but just wanted some info from you. I'm only running 35" SSRs with the stock 6 but did break a joint which took out the Spicer ears that came with the nine inch. So I went to the Mosers thinking they will be much better. I think they should hold with the current tires but if I do go to 36 or 37s I think I'll get the CTMs.
