Has anyone used a banks power-pack system designed for the 5.7L vortec? Any use a supercharger? I am looking for ideas to get a nice, healthy boost in power for my tow rig -- a 99 K1500 suburban...

I haven't used Banks stuff on any gas engines, but I have done a couple of Dodge diesels and the kits are very complete and make good power. I have a '99 K2500 7.4L Burb and I am looking at the Whipple Charger. The $3900 is a tough pill to swallow, but if their claim of 416 HP is true, it just may be worth it.

I got the "Sidewinder" turbo for my 91 4x4 with 6.2 diesel and I love it!!! It ran me about $2300.00 and the performance was greatly increased. I wouldn't hesitate buying any of their products. He's been designing turbos for over 20+ years and has set a few land speed records using his stuff. $$$$ well spent in my book......:beer: :beer: :D ;)
