First one by 92XJ. In this thread.

How come supposedly knowledgeable judges always pick your second-best stuff? Happens to rock stars, olympic atheletes, movie stars, even newbies. Tell me I'm not right, here's what should have led this thread:

Also by 92xj, in here:

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30423&highlight=aluminum

"....but that's silly, all of you are wrong. Aluminum is a poor conductor of heat, that's why...."

I ask my dumb questions on BBs. Some you show you were afraid to ask when you're on the trail.

Didn't see the first one. Though funny, It was only a goof not particularily spectacular.

I still like the multi level funny of your second one. In the second one you picked a well known guy on this board who Gets it!, at a very well known obstacle on the Rubicon. Plus there's the staged thing. Considering you are a newbie to the board and from back east, you asked a reasonable question. Reasonable, but funny. I especially like the other newbie who pointed out How Dean couldn't have made it too.:D

I didn't take offence to either one of those posts. The one about aluminum is the stupidest thing I have seen in quite some time so it take's the cake.

I agree. I don't come here to read giggly kid's stuff. If I want to laugh at stupid logic, I'll go to the Sierra Club website.

As for who posted the mission statement, all the more reason for them to listen to themselves.

That was one of the reasons it made me laugh because niether one was at all offensive, or even stupid. Just funny.

And for the fully newbie guy, this board has always been a place of humor. If it gets too flat and boring expect some of us that remember the humor to interject some. Better watch out you wouldn't want your ass to look fat in 31" tires would you?

Whichever, knock yourselves out with the "humor." But why make it sticky and possibly displace threads with useful info?

Oh well, enough arguing. Winning a BBS argument is alot like gold-medaling in the Special Olympics... either way, you're still a retard. cheers.

Dude? do I need me to call the waaaaaaaaahhhhhmbulance???:crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2:

Who's arguing? I'm just letting you look like ..... hmm.... well like you.

Thanks for all your tech help. I'm sure glad you have chosen this board to enlight us. What would we have done without you?

If you don't like funny, there are many other BBs out there. I think some of them are even kinder & gentler.

Some of us that actually wheel prefer the jovial side of trailside humor, we even have tried to bring it here. What does your keyboard ramp? is that on a 20 or 30 degree? And to answer your next question lets see next weekend I'm going wheeling it's a Competition called " Pro Rock" in Johnson Valley. But then again I'm only spotting maybe that doesn't count? The scary thing is I'm responding with someone my wife can most likely outdrive.

I deny responsibility for anything stupid said under my user name, past, present or future. It's these fawking one night stands with Gen X girls, they're always hacking into my web accounts while I'm sleeping. What happened to the good old days when the biotch just emptied your trouser pockets?

I almost felt bad for smacking you down on the aluminum versus brass thread, but it got so many laughs (including my wife) that I felt better about it.

I like that the fact that you are cool enough to accept it and move on, THAT'S the kind of person I'd like to wheel and drink  with.

Thanks, dude, no offense taken then or now. You were right, that's the perfect defense. And especially since you offered to buy me beer and give me your rig, I'm willing to let bygones be bygones. I hope its a jeep or at least a land cruiser, your sig doesn't say. And where is Forest Hill anyway? If it's a long way maybe you can just fill the jeep with beer and send it down on the train.

[hey moderators - leetle bit of a security flaw in that reply-with-quote function, don't you think?]

Sorry, dude, we're not into that. But a couple of hundred miles west of here is a nice little town called San Fransisco, plenty of :rainbow: and :bender: action available down there....

hmmmmm...I don't see a problem with the quotes either.....

Here's another tech tip for ya - buy a 3/32" lift kit for your commas, turn your "I,m"s into "I'm"s. So what, you got an ancient laptop keyboard or something?

Don't bother to thank me, just goes with the job.
