I think jasonmt may be able to answer this one for me, he seems to be into the big Ford trucks. :D
Can you get an F-450/550 with 4x4 DRW?

450 and 550 are available in 4x4 and 4x2

auto or 6 speed

60" Cab to axle or 84" cab to axle

the reg cab's also have a 100" ish cab to axle length.

We use 550 4x4 crewcab's with 60" cab to axle all the time for highway rescue rigs we build at work - the wheelbase on these is 176.2"

We have used the 84" CA version ocasionally - but with its 200.8" wheelbase and 4x4 - the thing turns wider than an aircraft carrier.

The 176" version I can get thru most drivethrus :D

we get for around 45000-47000 or so CDN with PSD/auto/4x4/ambulance prep/AC

there is an option called the Low Deflection Package - which is basically a 2" cast steel lift block added in. Nice when ya got a lot of weight out behind the rear axle centerline.

I love the XLT seats ....... comfy

F-450/550 only comes in DRW as no SRW is offered. F-450 has Dana 60/Dana 80 for axles, F-550 has Dana 60/135 for axles. Like STOKJEEP mentioned, drive thrus are now more like drive overs. Available engines are the V-10 or the PSD with 6 Speed manual or a 4 speed auto. 4x4 or 4x2 are available, with the suspension on the front being very similar between 2 and 4 wheel drive models. All kitted out, with welder and equipment on the back, replacement value ( what it is insured for ) is around $95,000 Can. These are the 450/550 models and wheelbases available, all have the 19.5" tires. Mine is the DRW Regular cab, 188.8" WB, PSD, 6 speed.

DRW Regular Cab
140.8"

DRW Regular Cab
164.8"

DRW Regular Cab
188.8"

DRW Regular Cab
200.8"

DRW SuperCab

DRW Crew Cab

DRW Crew Cab

A F450/550 would be a killer basis for an offroad mini-motorhome, switching the front hubs to SRW type and running 335/80R20s (41") or even 365/80R20s (43" tall, 14.4" wide).
Gearing with the diesels is 4.88, V10 5.38. Just right for big tires.
