Well, i started getting ready for my 4 link set up today. i really do not have a plan. i have looked at several different set ups. i like the blue torch fab brackets for the rear axle. i think i will go with the top bars straight and the the bottom bars triangulated. i think i will use front coils out of a ford or dodge truck. like i said i really have not done a lot of research. my rear springs were broke and i thought i would start the process of getting it ready. the wheelbase will stay the same. i cut 23" of body off and will cut 28" of frame off. i will box the rear frame and put a couple more cross members in to help support the pressure where the coil buckets will be. i am going to shorten the cage 19". i will do this by cutting and re-notching the spreaders above the rear seat. i also stuck a cj back seat in and moved it as close to the front seats as i could. that is all for now, i will keep you posted.

why not double triangulate? Not that hard if you are already taking the bottoms in at the front. you have a rock so you can bring the top ones in at the center. I have a pic of my top bridge on the rear rock I am doing, convertiyota went a different route, but works too. If you bring the tops in at the back it saves hanging a link up in the air with all of that force on it.
I can get the bridge pic taken if you want it of the rock I am doing. Here is the pic of how I did my rear to double triangulate it. the pipe in the middle is for a driveshaft loop. I was waiting on the other radius to finish the bottom out. Works well

that looks sweet. i may have changed the plans though. i have been really impressed with one of my buddies rigs. he is running 4 link in the back. it works really well. his bottom link are straight and the uppers triangualte on the rear rockwell. we looked at the way my truck is set up and think that it would work well on it. i am not trying to improve articulation just want it to be very stable. i love the steep stuff. i also don't need to stretch the wheelbase anymore, i am already at 126". i am still open to ideas. what is the benefit of the double triangulated. i have sorted through most of the suspension stuff with search. it usually confuses me. the way jimmy's jeep is set up is 12" of separtation between the top and bottom links at teh rear axle, the front of links have roughly 6" of separation. he has his top links at a 33 degree angle coming off the frame. his bottom links are 36" long and top ones are 32. he says he get no side to side. and no rear steer. what do you think. his set up may not work as well on my big fat girl, due to weight.
here is a picture of his.

It sounds like something like your buddys setup will also work well for you. Make the lowers as long as possible to reduce rear steer. A Blazer (especially yours) is long enough that theres enough room to make the lowers long enough that you will hardly notice the rear steer, although there will be some. You really dont have a lot of weight back there, I would try stock Cherokee coils on adjustable mounts. F150 coils might be too stiff to use in the rear. Definetly post pics
Not to get off topic, but do you have any more pics of your buddys cooler mount?

thanks for the info and i will post pics. i checked and i do not have any more pics of the cooler mount. i think it is small square tubing and it bolts to the original tire care holes in the tail gate. it looks really trick when you see it in person.

Are you going to dove tail the rear while your at it?
What size rod ends are you going to use and link material ?
Take it easy and give me a call.

adam,
i am not going to dovetail it. i am going to weld the corners above the taillights on and make it a flat fender. kinda like what most jeeps are doing. i checked on link material a couple days ago. i am going to use 1 3/4" x 1/2" wall tubing on the lowers. the shit is very expensive but i want to do it right. the uppers i will use 1 3/4" x 3/8" wall tubing. i am going to use johny joints and spring bushings for now. i will probably change the bushings later when they wear out. i hope to haver her back in the woods by the first of march. wish me luck.
