I like this set-up...A lot. Supper simple, no rod-ends to get sloppy, zero fore and aft rear steer, drive-line protection etc. Sure for high speed unloads I'd get lateral movement, but for crawling I like...What do you think?

Sorry for the size...Here's a bigger pic...

Wow that looks neat.... if it really works then that is a pretty cool setup.

Yea, it works bitchin...Matt (RockWare, Colorado) built it...His first set-up like this ran air-bags on the link...This version will run coil-overs...I really don't see anything wrong with this very simple and functional design.

yea i saw this last week
i like the trac bar already inverted (im assuming it will be straight with rear springs... all the lateral, wrap loads will be transfered to that one joint on the frame (i would like to know what it is.
problem is your axle will still try to walk out from under the truck because of the tracbar.... i think a 4 link without a trac bar would be stronger, safer

How thick is that square tubing you are using. There is going to be alot of force on them trying to bend the up on acceleration. I would say that .120 wall is too thin. You might want to truss the tops.
Limiting straps are going to be a must because I think it is going to lift the rear on acceleration. Especially since it looks pretty light in the rear.
Other than that it looks very functional. I LIKE!:D:D
Let us know how it performs when you get it done.

Yep the only problem with that design is it is hard to keep the anti squat values low with good ground clearance. also for a full bodied application with the panhard bar you are going to have to have wide axles or hack out inner wheel wells.
That is a great front suspension too, where the panhard bar is good for crossover steering and no bump steer and the anti squat is negative (it would make the front suspension suck down when climbing like an EB)
