ok, the fawken POS died again...... :mad3:

heres the problem........ it died on my way home from work thursday. i turned the key off and tried it and it went, went about a mile, then died again, did the same thing again and went about 1/2 a mile then died and this time nothing....... towed it home and put it in the garage..... went out friday night after the snow and it started, so i put th eblade on it and did one run down the driveway and half way up. dide and i tried it and it went and made it into the garage. then it wouldn't go anymore, so today i went out and checked for spark, lots, fuel pump is running, so i pulled the top of the intake off, right down to the injector, lifted the injector out and a little gas spilt into the intake, so i said just for shits i put the injector back in and tried it, it fired right up, let it run a few minutes, shut off, put back together, started it, backed it out of the garage, turned it around and backed it into the garage, let it idle for about 2 minutes and it just died and won't go anymore. and it was aobut this time the wood stove backed up and the garage filled with smole so i left the door open and went in the house.
any ideas?????

Well obviously it didn't fix it if your still having a problem. So it could be just coinsidence. Or it could be that your injector is faulty and by removing it and putting it back in made it work momentarily again. I suppose start with an injector that you know is good and if that doen't fix the problem then try an ECM that you know is good. Good Luck!!!!

also i'm in canada, its very cold......... might be ice in the lines...... i know theres a small amount of ice in the bottom of my clear fuel filter back by the tank.....

If you can see ice in the filter I would be willing to bet you have water in the tank. I might be wrong, but I would disconnect the output from the fuel pump, attach a piece of hose to it, jump the pump so it runs continuously, and drain the tank into a bucket so you can see if there is anything in it. Of course remember to dispose of the gas properly. Then fill the tank back up with clean gas. It is a simple fix, and even if your tank was clean you have removed one problem from your list.

Water or ice in the lines will definately do it! I have a friend that just had a similar problem and he parked the car in the garage with a heater on then drained and refilled the tank then it was OK. It dosen't typically get 10 degrees out here like it has been lately so several of us are learning the hard way about fuel line freeze and what oil viscocity to use in the extreme cold....

Sounds like a fuel pump to me. Check your filter and fuel pressure. Typical fuel pump to run then not run. JTOOOM

i droped the tank a little while ago, my guage was reading about 1/4 tank.... tank on garage floor, i pulled the fuel pump out to look inside, and well about half of the 1/4 tank is slush.... lol..... thats one fawk of alot of water in there....... i just drained the tank in the fall too.... my filler neck is rotted and probility leaks by the look of that, espically with no splash guard thing there anymore..... :flipoff2: thank fuck its not hte ecm, or i'd have to steal the one from my trail truck :(
