hehe, well i did let loose in front of my house and light up my 38's, i spun it for a few seconds and figured its good enough, when i get my new drive shaft i will send th old one out in style, and really burn teh tires and see what snaps first the output or the 1310 joint (god i hope its not a 31 spinle axle)

Some time has gone by so i decided to revive this thread.

Question: Anyone with the new D20 shaft have anything to report back. Breakage...other breakage as a result of the added strength.

I'm going with the BC shaft that is made from M300. The first one has a lifetime warranty and all others have a 30 day warranty.

I must be late to the party. BC as in BCBroncos? I don't see anything on their site. Tell me more. How's it different and who makes it?

Also have you seen his new "wristed axel housing"? No more need for a wristed arm, the d44 housing actually pivots :D

He said it should be out soon...

I know who Chuck is and met him at the 35th, but I am not on classicbroncos.com. I will sign up :D

The question still is the same...either WH or BC HD output T-Case shaft...

1) Has anyone broken one?
2) Has anyone broken a related part likely due to the added strength of the shaft?

As per usual, when you upgrade one part you are making something else the weak link.

The only reason I like BC's is because of the warranty. Other than that I don't know which is better. I do know that the BC one is made of the same shiznit that CTM's are so...

Yeah...I am just trying to find out what the next weak link REALLY is. I know what it should be, but I want to know what is actually happening to people on the trail. You know... the 'engineers' aren't always right.:D :D Doesn't sound like much to talk about is happening...but lets give it one more try...

TTT

If nobody is breaking...more the better. I'll run this by the classicbronco.com BB and see what Chuck found out in testing.

I have trashed 3 rear drive-shafts, but thats not really out of the norm for me.

I am still not sold on that 300m one, its still a 10 spliine on a very small yoke, I bet with those, people will still snap them (they still have a small shaft) or people will snap the splines right out of the yoke
