I just bought a set of 35/12.5 -17 BFGs and I am thinking about using H2 rims. Does any one have clearance issues with the 5.5 backspacing or the width of the rims?

Thanks

I assume you have a fullsize GM? I have the H2 wheels and 42" Iroks on my S10 on fullsize frame and they rub at fiull lock on the springs and steering box. I think with the 35's you should be fine.

Its a '81 Blazer ill be swaping a 14 bolt and my new tires in this spring after I get the tranny fixed and on the road. It has a 2 1/2" lift. Im was just wondering if any one has had problems with the 5.5 back spacing or if I should go 4.5.

Thanks for any help

I don't have a red star yet, but if you would like to see it, follow the Blazer Bash links from the CK5 homepage. My truck is red and white, half of the roof cut off. I can email if interested.

i have a '73 fullsize, with 6" of lift, Swamper TSL's 39.5x15x16.5 on D44 front and 5 1/4" backspacing on double beadlocks NO RUB. Keep in mind i have no inner fenders with a little fender trimming but no rubbing the frame or springs. I think you'll be fine with those wheels. Good luck!

I just put some H2 tires/wheels on my 85 Sub with 3" of body lift (no I didn't put the body lift on - it came that way  ) and my front left tire rubs the pitman arm end of the drag-link at full right turn. Maybe if I turn in the drag link end or adjust the drag-link length the problem will go away...
