I am looking into buying 1/2 ton running gear out of a 78 Chevy. What gear ratio was stock in the 1/2 ton D44 and 12 bolt rear? i did some searching, but came up with nothing real specific. thanks.

All common possibilities from the factory. Could be a 10-bolt front instead of a D44 also in '78.
