Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had some input...on the challenge Disko, on the rear suspension I am trying to decide if I should go with the HD RoverTym upper mounts and lower loop adaptors or If I should take the shocks from the axle up at and angle to where the wholes for the self leveling unit mount on the center of the frame. I was just going to make my own upper and lower brackets with some plate and grade 8 hardware.

Can anyone comment on this giving more/less flex or a better/worse ride? I would appreciate some opinons.

BTW, we are running 14" SB Billsteins.

Thanks!

don't know if I really know what you mean but you'll always get more dampening the more vertical the shock is. However if you buy over damped shocks or over valve them you can run them at any angle as long as you calculate the rate loss. I have my shocks at a 45 degree angle to a custom crossmember in the middle of the frame to studs welded to the axle. Works great and I've broken lots of parts but never those mounts. if you want to make you own stuff do it if you don't buy it
