: Are 38.5x14.50's too wide for hummer wheels?

Are 38.5x14.50 swamper SX's too wide to put on Hummer rims? Anyone done it? I think the rims are like 8.25" or so.

personally dont have it, but i have seen so many pics of rigs with the 14.50s and wider on them that i would do it without looking back. esp if you have the locks for them, then just mount em up and GET IT. :flipoff2:

Nope. Work fine. Ran them for a couple years on the Humvee.

You should be all right with the 14.50's on the hummer wheels, my buddy runs 42x15x15's on them with no problems.

i'm not saying it's right, but i've got 35 x 15.5 SX's on mine and they seem just fine

Just checkin' ... and trying to distract myself from the 42" envy.

I'm only running 37"x12.5"x16.5" ... :rolleyes:
