I need to get rid of this rusty roller fairlead now that i'm running synthetic rope. Anybody have any ideas on how to fit one up, or possibly machine an offset fairlead?

I just replaced my cable with rope on my PTO. Since nobody makes a hawes fairlead for my Fairey PTO winch I bought a piece of aluminium and took it to my dad's machine shop and made my own. You could do the same and take it to a local fabricator/machine shop, maybe even a local high school machine shop.

Don't hawse and roller fairleads use the same two standard bolt holes? And what do you mean by an "offset" fairlead? I guess I'm missing something about fairleads or ARB bullbars.

BTW, have you noticed that JKCustoms (http://www.jkcustoms.com/) sells aluminum hawse fairleads that resemble a Cruiser's round bezel?

ARB bumpers require you to redrill the roller fairlead in order to mount it on the bullbar. These holes are the same size, but offset about 1/2" below the "stock" fairlead mounting holes.
