Well i decided to change out the O-RINGs in the fuel injectors, and well i was almost 100% sucessfull, but they still leak!!! :eek:

WTF? can injectors go bad & leak ?

depends on the injector, if they're the two piece plastic/metal ones, they can separate between the plastic and metal and leak.

Do me a favor, and don't drive it until you get it fixed. a guy i know lost a heavily modded XJ in the parking lot of the dealership while buying o-rings to fix the leaky injectors than in turn destroyed his jeep. (fire)

I had to replace all my injectors on my 1990 Xj this summer.
They weren't leaking from the o rings. the actaual injectors where leaking

How much it run you? details! what should i expect???

I hope you are not buying them from the dealer. I think I paid about $40 each from Autozone.

I had 2 of them start leaking after changing o-rings myself.

I had to swap in new ones on my ZJ and the dealer wanted $100 each (few years ago) And when your buying eight, thats hard to swallow. I went to O'rielys(sp?) and I think they were about $50, make sure you call around and shop prices! None leaked after install, but I did lube them with something(don't remember what tonight, if I do i'll post)

WOW WTF? I found more an more!!! theirs atleast 100 reports, just multiply that times 1000 folks that dont know about NTSB.

Guess we'll have to wait till more folks die till we get results.
