I have a confer rear gas tank that is brand new bought several years ago and never installed. It has everything with it including skid plate. I am leaning towards not installing it. What do you guys think it is worth?

There are new ones on MAN-A-Fre for like 800, I sold mine that had a massive dent in it for 200 I think.

wngrog sold a well used one for $300 on ebay. The auction link is on his softcore buildup thread. I'd expect a new confer w/skidplate would bring over $500 on ebay. More if it is one that has a bottom that slopes up to the rear frame crossmember. If the back half of the tank's bottom slopes up to be flush with the rear xmember, I'd run it. The tanks with flat bottoms that hang down a few or several inches from the rear xmember aren't capable off road coming down drop offs.

let me know if you do decide to sell it, might need it for my "isabel" resurection project. :)

I've never had a problem with mine, and it's been on for several years. :)
