On a D60 steering arm with draglink and tierod above the springs does anyone have measurements less then the OEM draglink connecting point distance wise on a high steer setup with good tire movement without anything hydraulic? I kept them roughly 7 and 5" from the center of the axle and my steering sucks with only 36" tires and not even on the rocks.....got any measurements to help out, thinking about redoing the arms to match the OEM distance for the draglink and then add the the tierod point.....factual infor only....shaker, ant, anyone....
Not a D60, but on my RC44, I have my steering arms drilled for 5.75" from center of axle. My pitman arm is also 5.75" long. I tied my drag link into my tie rod and I get full steering lock to lock. Way tighter than stock TLC.
You need to know how much your tie rod swings from lock to lock. I think mine was about 6.5". I also measured how far my pitman arm swing was.....near 6.75" When I put the drag link into the tie rod, I got a nearly perfect turning ratio lock to lock.
Here is a pic of my setup.

If you are running your drag link into the steering arm, you need more movement from lock to lock than your tie rod will travel. Therefore you may need a longer pitman arm.
