Blind Driver

Last Wednesday I went down to a local 4x4 shop to pull parts off a '79 that was going to the yard. The owner only wanted the Dana 44s and the Dana 20. Yes, he's a Jeeper. :shaking:
Everything I wanted for the low price of $75. :D
I scored a Prestolite dizzy, back seat, radiator, headlight buckets, rear driveshaft, air cleaner, thermoquad carb, and a softtop with all the mounting hardware. :D
Oh yea, and a spreadbore intake manifold. :) It's going on my '75 this spring.
The 345 and 727 "ran perfect" when parked. It was as clean as a new engine on the inside. Too bad I couldn't pull it with the 727. This truck was on a trailer on the springs. :( I'm going to the yard Tuesday to see how much they want for the 345 and 727.
The truck I found today cost me $200 but all the parts were already pulled.
I scored a 345 block, ported and polished heads, reground crank, pistons, rods, oil pan, master rebuild kit, guages, and yet another squarebore intake manifold. :D
At this point I am swimming in squarebores :D . Looks like this second intake will find its way into my 1100D this spring.
