3500 TBI Riser?does it help? [Archive]

I recently purchased a 1990 3500 with a 454 and was wondering some little tricks for a few more MPG? does the air cleaner riser help? any thing else you guys know that works? right now I get about 10 mpg in town and 12 on the HWY or is this as good as it gets? It may get shitty gas milage but it sure pulls my land cruiser nice!! :D

the easiest thing you could do would be to put a "spacer" between the fuel injection (adds 10HP) and slap a K&N on there (add 10-15HP). simple mods to be done "cheap"....good luck
