It sounds like pics, prices and availability will be here sometime next month according to RRO!!! I don't know if this is really worth while or not, but my rust ridden ride is in dire need of help. RRO says they don't know anything about prices yet, and "DONT ASK" The unexpected part is the availability of a the LWB bodies and frame extensions, this could be way to much fun.

DAMN! That would be COOL to have a LWB Zuk, add on the extensions and be good to go!
Can't wait to see some pic's! Thanks for the info!

Hmm... my plans for a light weight, sammy bodied, tube rig just became a little more feasible. Maybe now I won't even have to buy a samurai.
oooooh - I'd never hear the end of that. A tube framed rig powered completely by toyota... which had a samurai body.
"What year samurai is(was) that?"
"It's not. It just looks like one"

Custom built frames will be available for the LWB Samurai tubs, but they won't be cheap.
I figure most folks will likely find it more feasible to extend their existing Samurai frame for the LWB body.
I will hopefully have some pics and pricing up on our website within a month. The prototypes have been built!!!

Do these glass tubs have oversized wheel tubs?
Would be cool to able to get larger tires on and not have to cut anything off..

My thoughts exactly if your gonna do it for wheeling have the tubs set up for big tires. Enlarge the tunnel so a kick or toy tranny fits with no hassle. Have the frame available so a Shaffer kit or yjs bolt right on.
As idealistic as that sound the pages of Street Rodder are full of similar possibities...pick a body, pick a chassis, pick a suspension, pick a drivetrain...oh yeah and bring your wallet!:D I think this hobby is ready though for similar methods.

Good point about the Street Rodder magazines. I've pretty much given up on the 4x4 mags the last year or so because they are all the same (owned by same publisher and same articles are recycled throughout) and plus there is nothing in them to learn any more.
But the rod magazines have had my attention for the last half year or so - basically since I noticed them. Always something new in there. A high boy track T on 38" TSL would be cool. :)
