Okay I think we are ready to start seriously thinking and nailing this thing down. We have been trying to get a hold of the Jeepers Jamboree folks for a while and finally did. So far it is looking good. As I see it things are looking good for us to do this as long as we are on/off the trail in between their orgainized runs. Which should not be a problem since we are locked into those dates already. So here is the plan. We will attend the National Rally on July 27-30 and then July 31-Sunday- we are heading out west. We then plan on being ready at the trail head of the con by Tuesday morning August 2nd. Run the trail and be done by Friday Augsut 5th and in Tahoe. From there we are kicking around the idea of doing a couple of days worth of exploring Yosemite National Park or Sequoia National park or both while we are out there before heading home. So depeding on if we get word from the JJ that our group and our group only can run the trail that week then we are for sure going. Either way it looks like a good chance we are good to go so I am planning on it for sure. Respond here so I can a good idea of who is really serious about attending so I when I chat with JJ I have an idea of how many folks I am talking about. Let's treat this thread like a sign up thread. So start commiting soon and I will keep track of who is going and post updates of the list. This will for sure be a sweet run!

EDIT: For the second half...I won't be attending the Ntl. Ralley. I will have had enough of Colorado by then (doing the ARB run again this year which is in Co.). :flipoff2: :D

im in for the trail only. cant do the whole con-a-thon, so we gotta figure outrally points for guys like me.
