I have a friend that has a 97 Defender 90 soft top with less than 3000 original miles. The car has never been driven in snow, rain, or off-road. What is this thing worth?

3,000 miles? Stuart at Copley would likely give his left teste for that.

estimation: $70-80k

reality: whatever somebody is willing to pay.

Rover91 -- that truck's valuable enough to be in the DuPont Registry.

But part of me wants to ask... What's someone doing with that truck if they're not driving it in the rain, snow, or off-road?

If it's truly a showroom piece, which is suggested here, he's totally ig'nant and doesn't realize he's sitting on a new mortgage if there's any question as to its value. Check out ebay and see what rock-rashed '97s are going for... :cool2:

Discoweb isn't down. Go to here: http://68.49.91.161/ and reunite with your disco boobs.

As for the 90, as Bertha said. Call up Copley Motor Cars in MA. They will buy that malnourished rig from you for a premium.
