I thought I posted this earlier... but I can't find it....

anyway, I recently aquired a set of D44 front and rear scout axles. I'm trying to figure out what year they came from. I've got a couple of pics, but I'm not sure they'll help alot....

Basically, the rear axles were the same from 72'-80' with the exception of the brakes. 72'-73' had 11"x1 3/4" brakes and 74'-80' had 11"x 2 1/4". D44 front's w/ disc were available from 74'-80' and were all the same except for 80' which had 2.5 degrees castor. So when ordering parts you'll be safe to pick any year between 74'-80'.

great! thanks for the info... I've heard these are a pain to set up for SOA, what makes it so difficult? Other than the whole twisting the knuckles thing...
