I'm looking for some advice with regards to my 88 4Runner's 22re. It is running rough. I just had Jemco put in a rebuilt engine in it and they seen stumped as to why it is visibly shaking at idle. I've noticed that sometimes when I start it up after running a while the idle will drop to around 500. It doesn't do that all of the time bit it does happen once in a while. I've checked the motor mounts and they look fine. Has any one had any problems with the computer in one of these or have any ideas as to where to start?

could be a nubmer of things. might be a vac leak, timing is off, tps bad(or needs adj).
but if they just put a motor in it sure sounds like someone got a vac line crossed or cracked on of the sensor/ vac valves............Karl
