xtremexj94 02-02-2005, 11:56 AM How do you adjust the drum brakes on 404 axles? I've been looking for a star adjuster or something similar but can't find anything. It's probably something simple I bet but I'm learning as I go here. I did a search but couldn't find anything specific to adjustment procedures. Any help would be appreciated. Puffdragon 02-02-2005, 01:35 PM There are two 3/4"-19mm bolt heads on the lower portion of the drum backing plate. They cam out the pads for adjustment. They must be adjusted regularly for optimum brake perfomance.
