EDIT: It's on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4536645807) now.

I've owned this truck since December and put about 50 miles on it. The PO is a friend but he owned it only for a few months and also did not drive it much. Neither of us know its history. I have no service records.

This is not a show truck. It is mechanically in good shape and would make a fine daily driver. It would make an excellent trail rig.

-107K miles

-pre-'79 tub, good shape, very solid, no significant rust that I can see. Tub is covered with diamond plate, which was added for cosmetics  , not to cover up rust, which I can believe - it's not rusty

-Lifted with some kind of Canadian springs. I think about 4" of lift. Springs look pretty new.

-Stock size front shackles. Pretty big rear shackles.

-Rancho shocks - look pretty new

-repainted black - nice paint job in the front, not nice on the rear. I think the original color was Nordic blue. I suspect the ambulance doors are not original because they look to be green under the black paint

-Weber 32/36 carb (I have the original Aisin carb in a box and will include it)

-desmogged except for EGR and PCV - smog pump is still bolted on but no belt

-electric fuel pump

-engine and drivetrain otherwise stock as far as I can tell

-not original front seats - I think these are some kind of VW seats. Comfortable enough and they fit ok.

-new seat belts from CCOT front and rear - there were 4 point racing harnesses in there when I bought it, unsafely mounted and very inconvenient. I will include the harnesses if you want them

-I have and will install a new passenger side mirror soon - the one on there is cracked

-rear view mirror is cracked and wants to fall off its mount

-stereo doesn't work - doesn't power up - I think it's a wiring issue and haven't even looked at fixing it yet. No speakers installed. Truck came with Pioneer speakers in enclosures, which I will include

- speaking of wiring, it's kind of a mess - lots of splices and lots of red wire everywhere - almost everything seems to work, except:

- dome light doesn't work

- windshield wipers are intermittent

- windshield washer doesn't work

-I don't trust any of the gauges. Fuel gauge reads either F or E all the time. Oil pressure gauge never changes. Temp gauge reads too high. Speedometer stopped working when I bought the truck.

-4 BRAND NEW 33X9.5X15 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires - maybe 8 miles on them, on chrome steel Toyota wheels. No spare. I have a buyer for these if you don't want them. I can mount whatever you want, at your expense.

-The truck came from the Carolina's, Georgia, and Florida, so it's not very rusty. Frame is completely sound as far as I can tell. There is very minor surface rust in several places on the body. There is rust-through of the inner front fenders. The tub looks pretty good all over.

-The cage is weird. It has two hoops, one behind the seat, but not the original. One hoop just inside the rear door, which looks like the original B pillar hoop. Weird, and not safe to go topless with.

-There is evidence of bondo on both doors, the DS front fender and on the hard top

-The hard top leaks air at the top front, and has extensive surface rust there. Just needs clean up and paint I think

- Hella 500 driving lights on front bumper work great

- Driving lights on hood - one doesn't work - I have not investigated yet

- work lights on rear bumper work great

- rear heater is from an earlier year I think - I have the correct year center console with integrated rear heater and will include it

- the on the road driving manners make me wonder if there is an automatic locker in the rear diff - sometimes makes a funny noise when cornering or slowing down

- steering is sloppy - about 45 degrees of play in the steering wheel - just needs a center arm and TRE job - this being said, it tracks very straight with not much bump steer

- runs great - this Cruiser is FAST - surprised me - much faster off the block than my FJ62 or FJ55. Stutters sometimes when accelerating at around 2000rpm , then kicks you in the butt when it kicks in again - probably a Weber thing

- transmission and clutch work great - shifts very smoothly

- transfer shifts easily between 2H and 4H but seems to be hard to shift into 4L, but once shifted works great and easy to shift back to 4H

- Warn hubs seem to work smoothly

- brakes work very well - they lock up easily

- brand new plugs, wires, dist. cap, rotor, battery, oil filter, Mobil 1 oil

- lots of rattles and groans - mostly the hard top I think

- comes with a roof rack not shown in pics. Nothing special - no floor, lightweight

- comes with bikini top, brand unknown

- comes with a pile of parts - weather stripping, original carb, other stuff the PO sent me that I haven't even looked at yet - it's all yours

I'm losing money at $5000

It's in my post above. The word "eBay" is the link. If you can't handle that, here it is again:

EBAY LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4536645807)
