Hi I need some info on a old topic. I've searched the board and come up with some good info but still need to calrify a few more concerns.

I want to swap a 4.0L from a 94XJ into my 89 YJ and mate it too a sm 465 and np205.

Questions...........
Looking at Novak's site and they sell a modified bearing retainer and throwout bearing that enables you to bolt the sm 465 to a 79-86 jeep engine using the jeep bellhousing & clutchassembly.
Can this kit be used with the bellhousing from the 4.0L (ax-15 bellhousing)

I need to get a vehicle speed sensor in order fo the computer to read the vehicles speed. Can the mopar vss in the MPI kit be used with the np205 t-cse or does it just go in line? Does anyone know of a spedo cable that will work with the 205 and the 89's speedo?

Do I need to upgrade to the new electrical speedo and tach that came in the YJ's or are the mechanical ones I have now fine?

Anyone got any pointers woh have done this swap?

get the speed sensor for a 93 dodge diesel They screw right on the T-case in place of the speedometer cable so all you need is two wires running back there and the 94 electronics depend on a signal from the speed sensor.
