the bed sure looks like it was bobbed to me. might be optical illusion, but the rear overhang looks a little short.

It also looks like the frame is twisted. if you look at the hood on the drivers side it extends over the bib about 3". somethings not right. The bed does look bobed, the more I look at it.

A bobbed bed would be fine if it was done well.

Looks more like the front sheetmetal is pushed back on the left side. But it does have some frankenstein looking brackets welded on between the front frame horns. Pluses: its already sprung over. :evil:

So who got it?

I quit biddin' at $1500. Just too much missin' to be worth the roadtrip to Cali to fetch it for any more money than that. Hope it got a good home.

That poor thing has been floating around here for years. I know four people that have owned it, thinking they could fix it, but all decided it was just to far gone. It was actually raced for a while, way back when, so it was pretty stipped down. After that it got ransacked for parts in an ugly way and was pretty much destroyed. It'll need a LOT of work to be a 'cruiser again :(

This cruiser was nothing more than body and frame when purchased and looked like this less a year later.
