FOR SALE: 1989 Ford 351 Police Engine – removed from a Crown Victoria, 76000 Original miles on it. The car never was sold to the police dept. It is a carburetor power plant (I though all Ford engines were EFI by 1987) this bad boy has silicone radiator and heater hoses, also has an external oil cooler (Black hoses draped across top) Cooler was damaged during removal of engine (Stubborn hose fitting). NOTE: Trans already sold – this is for engine as you see it. It ran VERY strong before removal. $600.00 plus shipping. PM me if interested – I’ll check my PM every night when possible. This Engine is about 50 miles south of the St Louis Mo area.

the interceptor pkg was carb'd via the variable junkturi carb till '91, then they changed body style went to the 4.6L. It kinda sucks that the 351's didnt get the roller cam treatment till '94. I *believe* this motor is rated for around 180-ish horsepower. Those OEM oil coolers are not very freindly either. Just about every Ford oil cooler ive tried seperating from the lines has wound up being damaged because of stubborn fittings, and a weak design of the cooler. Good luck with the sale.
