I got several 302 engines but one is in a 1989 van. Strong running engine but has a much different EFI system than my Stang and Crown Vic 302 engines. Is this EFI worth a sheit? I'm building a new crawler - ground up (Toyota 4 - runner frame and body) and I'm going to run a Ford EFI 302 engine. Learning about Fords EFI right now. Anyone know the differences?

It's batch-fire, speed density... the tall intake manifold was standard on trucks and vans. Nothing really wrong with it, but it's not particularly popular for swaps because the intake won't fit under the hood of most rigs.

Thanks for info, yep it's tall - too tall for under my Toyota hood. Plan is to change out EFI on it with one from one of the Crown Vic 302's for now. Get truck set up then rebuild one of the two Stang 302's and drop it in :D . Tired of the lille bietie 22RE 4 poper - time to make a new rig with a V - 8

i took a truck motor (batch fire comp and harness)and put the car intakes on it and it works great for my EB. the only thing you have to do is drill a hole for the knock sensor and lengthen a few wires and it all plugs right in.
if its cheap and available use it!
